Getting Healthy Giveaway: Banglz!
It’s not too often that the ideas of “fashion” and “exercise” cross paths in an aesthetically-pleasing, logical way. Designer fanny-packs for running do not count. Ultra-mesh, suede, velvet and tulle cross trainers aren’t really on anyone’s radar…
But if you’re ever looking to incorporate some incognito exercise into your daily routine, FitnessUWear has offered you a giveaway opportunity by sponsoring a contest for a set of Banglz.
If you’re unfamiliar with Banglz, they’re just like regular bangles except, well, they weigh half a pound each! They were invented by two stay-at-home moms in Philadelphia who wanted to incorporate that little extra something that would help them stay fit and healthy, though they had no time for workouts.

The Banglz are all aesthetically modified for your pleasure. Some are covered with a patterned print in a semi-neutral color set, some are solid, and they’ll be a noticeable accessory without making you, well, look like you’re wearing wrist weights.
We are giving away ONE SET of Banglz with the help of FitnessUWear and KMR Communications!
All you need to do to enter is…
1. Comment on this post with your name and email (in the info section) telling us who your favorite Getting Healthy girl is, and why!
2. Check out the FitnessUWear website, and tell us about a different product that would help you reach your own Getting Healthy goals!
NOTE: You can enter using BOTH of these methods, but to get two entries in the giveaway you must make two separate comments: one with your favorite GH girl, another with a product you like off of FitnessUWear.
Open to US residents only (sorry!).
This contest will run until 11:59pm PST on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 and we’ll choose one random winner on the following day.
Good luck!

1. Michelle is my favorite — I love how much progress she made, but was still imperfect enough to not be daunting to onlookers
I look forward to seeing how she does in round 2!

#2! The Baglz look awesome, and I think the ankle version of them would also be great. I walk around a lot, so wearing those under my jeans I think would make quite an impact pretty quickly!
